GPS is committed to responsible conduct and expects the same from its suppliers. Our supply chain is carefully selected to maximize sustainability and minimize the environmental impact. GPS continues to maintain a FSC Chain-of-custody (since 30.10.2013).

SMETA (Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit) is the most widely used social audit in the world. SMETA is Sedex’s social auditing methodology, enabling businesses to assess their sites and suppliers to under- stand working conditions in their supply chain. GPS has a fundamental responsibility towards its employees and constantly monitors health and safety for employ- ees and workers, and has zero tolerance for human rights abuses such as child and forced labour.

GPS is a certified user of ClimateCalc, the leading carbon footprint calculation tool for the printing industry. ClimateCalc enables certified companies to measure, analyze, and reduce CO₂ emissions from both their operations and individual printed products.

By implementing ClimateCalc in 2025, GPS strengthens its commitment to transparent and measurable climate action. The goal is clear — to calculate the carbon footprint of every book we produce and to identify new opportunities for reducing our overall environmental impact.

This certification marks another important step in GPS’s long-term sustainability journey, ensuring that every printed product we deliver is produced with greater awareness and responsibility toward our planet.
